London Mountain Film Festival (LMFF) Showreel two - Snow Sports (ski & boarding) (12A)

The Ritz Cinema is proud to once again host the LMFF, this time over three Sunday nights in March with full public access and standard ticket pricing. Showreel two is midway through our shows and moves to 'snow sports'. It's cold outside - and even colder where these films may take you so come inside to the warm to enjoy these adventures. Approximately 90 minutes will take you from snow rebels in Vail to what look like totally impossible lines in Scandinavia and more again in the incomparable beauty that is Antarctica. If you think a back flip is impressive (spoiler - it is!) then consider the experience of boarding off the literal edge of a mountain cliff...Stories to inspire as well as impress. You can sit this one out and enjoy the views from a comfy seat.

About the LMFF - There are many communities who can’t or choose not to travel and attend an in-person festival, and so, the LMFF project has been extended to bridge that gap. The idea came from one filmmaker who requested to stream the festival’s films in a small community hall in Kentucky, and the LMFF saw an opportunity to offer the same experience to everyone. By purchasing a Community Pass, groups and clubs can now stream their own curation of LMFF’s films anytime during the festival fortnight. This pass allows hosts to raise funds for a charity, community project or their own club, while bringing their community together for a fun film night and being part of something bigger.
